Seasonal Collection

Any great fashion house and designer has looks and collections to accommodate all seasons. For your assignment, you are going to be creating 4 original designs, one intended for each season; winter, spring, summer and fall. Each design is intended with the same client in mind! Think about the defining characteristics of each season's fashion looks. Think about the color palettes and silhouettes.

A color palette is the set of colors that a designer chooses to use in their designs. Color can effect the overall mood of the design and indicate the season that it is intended for.

In fashion, the term silhouette refers to the line of a dress, or the garment's overall shape. It is important to consider the silhouette when designing a garment or outfit. Silhouettes can be used to emphasize and alter a woman's shape to create a flattering illusion. Different dress silhouettes are designed to flatter different body types as well as meet the dress codes for different events.

This is a large project, with many assignments within it! Check this page regularly, to make sure you have everything done.
