Form Still Life

Assignment # 1: Value Scales
You are to create 4 value scales in your sketchbooks.  1 inch by 5 inch (4 boxes in each scale)
  1. Scale 1: Pencil Shading
  2. Scale 2: Hatching
  3. Scale 3: Cross-Hatching
  4. Scale 4: Stippling
Each scale must have distinct shades between each box, getting lighter as you go!

TIPS: Start with your darkest box first, then work your way lighter. Less pencil pressure as you go to make it lighter.
The more lines/ dots the darker it appears and the less dots or lines the lighter it appears!
